Job description

We are now looking for a Sales Support Manager to join Metso Minerals Market Area Nordics in Tampere. You will support the sales of Mining Crusher Wears and Spares.

As a Sales Support Manager, your target is to make sales as easy as possible for our sales people. Your main responsibility is to assist Market Area sales teams. You will ensure our strategic business area initiatives are rolled out inside the market area and drive the offering toward to the needs of customer segment. You will work closely with other Regional Sales Support Managers and report to the Head of Sales and Channel Support MA Nordics.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Sales and application support for the market area
  • Conduct audits and data collection at customer sites for Chamber Optimization
  • Leading business area development initiatives
  • New product trainings and product launches together with the local teams
  • Visiting customers and participating in sales negotiations together with the Market Area Sales teams
  • Gathering market intelligence data and presenting that to market area and business area management

 

This role requires travelling 20-30% of the work time.

 

To Succeed

To succeed in this role, you should have already a few years’ experience in developing and supporting business processes in a global business environment. You know how to optimize and implement new business models and you are experienced in working across organizational functions, regions and in multi-cultural teams.

You have a very good technical understanding and you are keen to learn more. You are interested in technical details, our products and understanding the customers’ processes. Experience/knowledge of mining business is an asset.

You manage your own work well and you take things forward efficiently and in good collaboration with others.

Your communication and presentation skills are excellent and you can influence and convince people even under pressure. You are easy to approach and you can build networks across the organization.

You have a Bachelor/Master’s degree in a technical field or other suitable field and you speak English and Finnish fluently. Swedish skills are a plus.
