We are offering a position as a Sales Support Engineer at ABB Oy, Marine & Ports Service unit in Helsinki, Vuosaari. Your duties in the sales support function will include creating quotation proposals for demanding upgrade and modernization projects and service agreements in close co-operation with sales managers. This includes proposals for ABB electric propulsion system solutions. Screening new business opportunities and giving support in the development of new solutions according to market needs will also be an important part of your job. Participating in the development of marketing material and developing sales tools will also be possible in this position. We require a B.Sc or M.Sc. in electrical engineering. Relevant work experience is required: in minimum five years’ experience in the engineering, sales or sales support of marine service or other relevant electrical equipment supplier’s service industry. Good knowledge of different kind of frequency converters is required. Experience in service agreement models is an advantage. You have a systematic and independent way of working. You are experienced working in a multicultural environment. The role requires good customer communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and to carry out multiple tasks simultaneously. You have fluent spoken and written English skills; other language skills (e.g. Finnish and Swedish) are beneficial. Proven skills of creating documents ( AutoCad, EPLAN ) and presentation material as well as good knowledge of ABB Marine’s products and applications is considered an advantage.
