Tasks   We are looking for a Sales Support Engineer, Digital Solutions at ABB Oy, Marine and Ports business line in Vuosaari, Helsinki. In this position, you will be responsible for or assist as a team member in preparing the technical bid documents and cost estimates for marine automation and control systems including also technology for autonomous ships. You will work in close cooperation with ABB’s own project and engineering departments as well as external suppliers to define optimum solutions to be offered to our customers worldwide. You will work with a Sales Manager and present the technical solutions to our customers. Your duties also include preparation and negotiation of the final technical contractual documents with the customer.

Requirements   We require a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in automation engineering. The ideal candidate has a few years of experience in the sales, design, operation or service of electrical or automation systems, but candidates with less experience will be considered as well. You are a customer-oriented professional and truly interested in and inspired by technology. In addition to technical knowledge, you have good presentation and negotiation skills. Excellent skills in written and spoken English are a must; Finnish language skills are an advantage.
