Sales Manager/Bid Manager- Turbine and Generator Services
As Sales Manager/Bid Manager-TGS, you are part of Fortum eNext and TGS (Turbine and Generator Services), a unit within the City Solutions division that offers services to industry and utility customers. You will have responsibility to sell our services within steam turbine and generator services mainly in Finland, but also in the Baltics. Your duties include, as Bid Manager, managing the quotation work for a specific sales project, collecting the necessary technical and commercial documentation from the organization and compiling these in an attractive tender for the customer. As a Sales Manager/Bid Manager you are responsible for the commercial part of the quotation. The role could also expand in tasks that includes more proactive sales, identifying potential customer projects and concluding profitable agreements with new and existing customers – all in accordance with our sales process. The location is flexible but preferable Espoo, Naantali, Jyväskylä, Oulu or Imatra.

You are a civil engineer, or have an equivalent degree in engineering. You combine this with a technical background and experience of sales roles in the energy sector or other manufacturing or process industries with a focus on generators and/or turbines. You should also have the habit of working as a Bid Manager, negotiating and concluding contracts. Fluent Finnish and English in writing and speech is a requirement. Other languages are seen as beneficial. Interest and skills in automation, protection, IT and Excel are meritorious. Travel is included both within Finland and abroad.
