Sales Manager of Essity’s Consumer Goods (CG) department in Finland. Essity is a global leader in personal care. You will be part of a strong and highly motivated sales team at Essity Consumer Goods Finland. The Consumer Goods business area includes Baby Care, Intimate Hygiene, and Tissue with brands like Libero, Libresse, TENA and Lotus.

What You Will Do
In your role as Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, optimizing and developing the Finnish field sales team, and increase sales and share in Finland. You will coach team members on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets as well as ensure our field operations are optimized and continuously developed. You will ensure a value adding and efficient management style and guarantee that the key milestones and deadlines are respected.
As a member of Finnish Consumer Goods management team, you’ll be developing and implementing our strategy. You will translate local business plans into sales plans, activities, and campaigns managed by the field sales team. You’ll also support your team on day-to-day activities of within the retail and developing channels.
You will negotiate sales with selected existing and new customers. Monitoring sales volumes, revenues, and costs against forecasts, to identify problems/opportunities, is also part of your work. Generating knowledge on market development, customer needs and competitor activities is on your agenda, and you distribute that to internal stakeholders. You will report to the Commercial director, Baltics & Finland.
Who You Are
You are an experienced manager, with ability and skills to take ownership and develop both people and business to achieve your goals. You understand the importance of team and you are able to create good relations with your key customers. You have a strong track record in a similar position, preferably working with the consumer goods business. In addition to Finnish language, you can also communicate fluently in English. Your interaction skills are excellent.
