We offer
At Nestlé Professional Food we are now looking for a new Sales Manager for Finland based in our Finnish head office in Keilaniemi Espoo. You will report to our Nordic Sales & Marketing Manager Professional Food based in Copenhagen. The local team in Finland, which you will be managing, counts four team members and drives the sales of the Puljonki, OSCAR & Hälsans Kök brands.

In this role you will have a large network; internally, in Nestlé Professional food, within Nestlé Nordics, and externally, with our customers.


Your responsibility and tasks
As Sales Manager you will take on a dual role. You will be responsible for identifying and building new opportunities for long-term growth, and for creating long-term, lasting and trusting relationships with our customers and key decision makers. Simultaneously you will be expected to lead our sales team all of whom have a culinary background.

In our team we grow sales through solutions and by supporting our customers in finding opportunities for sales growth. We spend a lot of our time in our customer’s kitchens where we see the needs of our customers and show case our superior quality products. We need someone therefore, who is both relationship oriented yet comfortable with analysis work.

The desired area of residence lies within the capital area of Helsinki or the surrounding area as the area of operation is mostly Southern Finland. Some travel is required in the position and we estimate you to be on the road around three days a week.

Your experiences and qualifications
In order to be successful in this role we see that you have previous experience from a commercial role within a food or a beverage organization. You might previously have held a position as Key Account Manager or Sales Manager. Business acumen will be key. In this position you need a highly developed ability to think and act commercially as well as strong negotiating, communication and presentation skills. You should feel comfortable preparing business cases and drawing up business plans, this while coaching and developing your sales team. Preferably you have already gained experience in people management.

We see that you have a university degree, are fluent in Finnish and English and we assume you are PC literate.
