Sales Manager, Respiratory

Your Responsibilities:

As a First Line Sales Leader your mission is to drive performance of your district by leading the field sales teams (Medical Representatives) to meet territory business objectives and establish GSK as the customer’s key partner and advisor.  This will be achieved through inspirational leadership, motivational coaching, and the development of the team’s scientific knowledge, business planning and selling capabilities. You will lead team of medical representatives and report to the head of respiratory unit, Therapy Area Lead of Respiratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the best implementation of the Therapy Areas strategy and transforming the operational plan into account level business plans,
  • Ensuring the execution of key customer activities and account level business plans,
  • Coaching the field sales team to build knowledge of brand strategies and competitors, enhance selling skills and apply these in multi-channel selling leading to improved outcomes,
  • Ensuring the field sales team performance by leading all performance management discussions and actively participating in the recruitment of medical representatives,
  • Analyzing area performance dynamics, identifying trends and opportunities to develop business plans that deliver business objectives,
  • Ensuring the field sales team have a comprehensive scientific knowledge and insight from the latest clinical studies to build credibility with customers,
  • Developing collaborative external and internal relationships with key stakeholders .

Why You?

Basic qualifications:

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master’s level) in relevant field (Preferably life sciences or commercial),
  • Sales experience preferably within the Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare,
  • Ability to discuss scientific and medical data with external and internal stakeholders,
  • Experience in project management and business context understanding and/or experience in managing sales teams ,
  • Strong planning and organisational skills,
  • Ability to influence, impact and convince others,
  • Proven leaderships skills with collaborative team player approach,
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English,
  • Flexibility required in a field-based role and ability to business travelling.
