We are looking for an experienced sales professional to the position of a Sales Manager for Arctic Vessel Propulsion System Sales at ABB, in Marine New Sales in Helsinki. The main responsibilities are front end sales activities with shipyards for Propulsion Solutions, and working as a team member in contract negotiations with customers. In this position, you will participate in implementing strategic initiatives to develop sales plans for the Propulsion Solutions. Technical negotiations and technical workshops with customers are a part of the daily work. You will be travelling an estimated 70 days per year.
We require a M.Sc in Naval Architecture (or an equivalent degree in the field of maritime). Strong experience in successful leading of sales negotiations is essential. We require several years of professional experience in working in maritime or shipbuilding industry within contract management or sales. You are a sales driven arctic vessel operations professional and you have a solid background in shipbuilding and arctic vessel design. Proven track record in sales with success stories is a must. Experience in and capability to understand end users’ business needs are essential. Fluency in English is required, Russian is an advantage.
