SALES MANAGER, DISTRIBUTION SALES

We are looking for a proactive and internationally minded Sales Manager to develop distribution sales in close cooperation with the country sales organisations and marketing.

As distribution Sales Manager you will play a key role in developing our business with builders merchants in Europe. You will have an excellent vantage point over Metsä Wood’s business and products. The distribution sector is our largest customer segment and covers all product groups. Developing the cooperation on all levels with international multinational corporations as well as to local chains will be the main focus of your day to day work.


You report to Vice President, Sales Northern Europe & Distribution. The position is based in Espoo, Finland.

Key responsibilities:
− Developing distribution sales in close co-operation with the country sales organisations − Strategic planning as well as hands-on implementation
− Implementing and following up on marketing campaigns 
− Identifying and successfully winning new business opportunities


 


Prerequisites

− Technical or business degree (e.g. M.Sc. Technology or M.Sc. Economics and Business Administration)
− Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and sales. Experience of the distribution sector is beneficial
− Fluency in English and Finnish
− Swedish or other Scandinavian language is an asset
− Cooperativeness and proactiveness
− Strategic thinking and hands-on approach to problem solving
− Willingness to travel
