Quuppa is now looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team! As a Quuppa team member, your main task will be to provide both remote and on-site support for customers in technical questions related to Quuppa’s products. This work involves instructing and educating the customer on how to use the Quuppa products and also performing troubleshooting in case of problems. In addition, you will work together with the sales team as a technical expert when they meet customers, provide technical customer training, and create technical documentation together with the team. The role can be extended to cover wider responsibilities depending on your knowledge and skills.
Our ideal candidate for this role would be a customer-oriented engineer who is analytical, proactive, and not afraid of asking questions. As a Sales Engineer, there is a lot of both internal and external communication which underlines the importance of interpersonal skills. We are mainly providing remote support to the customers but the role will also involve travelling to support our customers on-site from time to time (depending on the Covid situation). We are preferably looking for someone who can work full-time, but it is also possible to start as a part-time employee for the first few months if you are about to finish your studies soon.
We require you to have:
Relevant studies in engineering/technology (university or university of applied sciences)
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach to work
Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English
We consider as an asset:
Relevant earlier experience in working with customers in a tech support role
Knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, computer networks, IoT, cloud and/or localization technologies
Communication skills in Finnish or in other Nordic languages
