Sales Director

To support Metsä Fibre’s increasing Pulp sales, we are looking for

SALES DIRECTOR

to Metsä Fibre’s office in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Your role in the future Metsä

You are a sales professional and support our growth ambitions in the European market. Your main responsibilities include:

• Sales and sales development in Europe
• Making sales strategies to support our continuous growth in Europe
• Raising sales volume with selected markets and accounts
• Optimizing product portfolio sales
• Increasing profitability and customer satisfaction
• Executing pulp sales according to Metsä Group’s Sales Processes and agreed targets
• Creating and updating sales forecasts and following up sales results of own accounts
• Co-operating with pulp sales managers and supporting their work
• Creating key account plans and implementing those with the support of the sales and technical teams
• Providing market and customer intelligence data and proposing development initiatives for common sales processes, tools as well as Metsä Fibre´s product and service offering.

In this role you will be part of Metsä Fibre´s Wiesbaden Sales Team, reporting to Vice President, Sales Europe.

What are we looking for?

We expect you to have extensive knowledge of pulp or timber markets and a relevant master level education. You also have experience from strategy within pulp&paper, timber, chemical or related industries. As a person you are analytical, practical, proactive and motivated sales leader with good project competences. You have excellent social skills, which you will use during visits to our customers and other stakeholders. In addition, you are fluent in English language, other languages are considered beneficial and you have willingness and ability to travel.
