We are looking for a target-oriented sales director for our fast growing Defense & Security business.
Your future responsibilities
You’ll join the international sales organization of Bittium and will work as the Director of Defense and Security sales for Central and Eastern Europe. Your responsibility is to achieve and go beyond the sales targets of your territory, by your personal hands-on sales work and with sales partner with new and current customers.
Your main work will focus on building, developing and managing the sales and the sales network for Bittium Defense & Security solutions in your region. In the position, you will get to maintain customer relationships from frail leads to contract phase, and beyond. Even after the deal is made, you will keep a close eye on customer satisfaction, monitoring and managing the quality aspects of product and service delivery. In practice, you will always be the customer’s trusted go-to guy or gal at Bittium.
Developing sales proposals and contracts, negotiating with clients, and sealing the deals will be your moments to shine. In the background you will maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports, analyze the market and competitors, keep up with technology, provide information to product management and prepare qualitative sales forecasts.
You will take part in the overall Defense & Security sales strategy, be responsible for executing the strategy in you region and you will also work in close collaboration with the marketing team. You will be part of the Bittium Sales organization and will report to the SVP of Sales.
Who you are
You have a proven track record in international sales and you understand the government business environment. You have creative and courageous attitude for searching new sales opportunities and you are ready and able to build and nurture your network of key contacts. You understand that to achieve results, you need to be in the frontline of sales and close to the customer. You are willing to travel as this work demands frequent travelling.
You are ready to work in an international and fast growing business environment. You have positive attitude towards new things, strong situational awareness and you are fast at adapting to different situations. You have a solid desire to work together and are ready to be one of the key faces of Bittium Defense & Security.
Fluent skills in English and German are mandatory in this position. Other languages are a big plus – if you can work for example in French, Finnish or other languages, that’s a good addition. You have good office IT skills. Your preferred location is in Espoo or Munich, other locations can be discussed.
