We are looking for a

Sales Director Account management

to join our BA Retail Sales team in Espoo, Finland. The position is permanent and requires some traveling.

In BA Retail we sell and market wide range of health related brands and traded goods for Finnish pharmacies and grocery stores. Oriola has a strong position and long partnership with pharmacies and pharmacy chains in Finland. We also offer various expert and staffing services to pharmacies and hospitals.

As a Sales Director your main task is to successfully lead and develop the account management and sales of BA Retail. You lead and manage a team of Key Account Managers and a sales team of Service managers for Staffing services. Your tasks are to develop, implement and drive the sales strategy needed to support our customers to succeed. You will build strong alliances with our customers and support Oriola’s short and long term sales development. In this position you will develop ways to do sales effectively, motivate and coach the team and support their excellent performance. Within Oriola you will mainly co-operate with field sales, marketing, product development, services and logistics. You will also represent Oriola as a spokesperson in customer meetings and other public engagements.

The person acting in this role will report to BA Retail Nordic Sales Director.

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

  • Exceptional customer focus
  • BBA or Master’s Degree in Economics or equivalent education
  • Strong experience in account management sales - and a good understanding of field sales
  • Experience from the pharmacy business. Grocery business experience is an asset.
  • Ability to create close relationship and trust with the customers
  • Analytical approach and talent with financial figures and KPIs
  • Energetic and outgoing, with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in change management and acting in challenging business situations
  • Positive attitude towards continuous improvement and development activities in addition to hands-on attitude
  • Excellent IT skills e.g. with MS Office
  • Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English, both spoken and written. Swedish is an asset.
