Sales associates for Duty free stores

We are Avolta, We combine travel retail and restaurant offerings under a common company name in over 73 countries. In the Nordic organization, we operate on the travel retail side through the Dufry brand, while HMSHost is responsible for restaurant operations. In Finland, we have 15 retail outlets at the award-winning Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

We are now looking for DUTY FREE SALES ASSOCIATES FOR THE AIRPORT ENVIRONMENT for permanent employment.

What do the tasks include?

• You will work in diverse tasks as a store salesperson in all our stores.

• You will meet both domestic and international customers daily and sell them our high-quality products.

• In addition to sales work, you will ensure the general cleanliness of the store, shelf products, and handle cashier duties.
  

Working hours:

• The work is approximately 25 hours per week. Our stores are normally open every day of the year from 04:00 to 01:00.

Salary:

• The salary is determined according to the retail sector's collective agreement as an hourly wage.

Please note:

• Distances between our stores at the airport can be long, and the salesperson's work in our stores is standing work.

• Early mornings (04:00) and late evenings (01:00) are our everyday life, and you find it nice to work on weekends and sometimes on public holidays.

• The job requires good English language skills, Finnish and/or Chinese is a plus

• A basic security clearance is conducted for those working at the airport, and you must have a valid passport or photo ID for the access card.
