We are looking for a
Sales and Operations Planning Director
to manage and develop Metsä Board planning teams and processes. As S&OP Director you will report to VP, Supply Chain and be located in Espoo.
What's your role in the future Metsä?
Your key responsibilities will include managing and facilitating monthly S&OP process as well as lead, guide and develop Supply Chain planning teams as per United process definitions. In this role you manage and develop Supply Chain planning teams competences and prepare decision proposal for the S&OP meetings together with S&OP Manager. In addition you will monitor and develop profitability-based supply chain planning aligned to the customer categorization.

What are we looking for?
We expect you to have a position relevant education (Master’s degree or equivalent) and extensive experience in S&OP management. You have an excellent understanding of sales and operations planning, supply chain management and sales processes. To succeed in this position you should have excellent people leadership, change management and communication skills. You have strong knowledge in excel and SAP APO. Microsoft Power BI, SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP skills are seen as an advantage.
As a person you are a team player, you have good co-operations skills and you are able to work under pressure. In addition you are a pro-active problem solver and excellent in numbers and in understanding large and complex issues. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are also required. Other language skills (e.g. Swedish or Finnish) are considered as an advantage.
