S&OP/DEMAND PLANNING SPECIALIST

JOB SUMMARY

Sales and Operations Planning team’s key focus is to secure product availability, whilst simultaneously managing inventory levels and driving high inventory turnover – areas of key focus for the company. S&OP Specialist works in close cooperation with sales, NPD and production planning teams to develop an accurate demand plan on specific markets throughout the whole portfolio as well as to make sure supply chain meets the requests accordingly. This person supports sales teams in their demand planning with high focus on campaign and novelty plans. The role is full-time and located in Lumene HQ, Espoo.

To succeed in this role you must have analytical and systematic way of working. As to character, it is essential to have excellent communication skills; a critical eye / mindset and pragmatic approach. You are a strong team player and capable of multi-tasking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

S&OP Specialist provides support and acts in the following areas:

• Supports key account managers in demand planning and facilitates monthly reviews
• Analyzes historical sales data and future plans to improve demand planning accuracy
• Coordinates new item planning and campaign reservations
• Supports S&OP coordinator with short term availability checks and follow up
• Monthly planning hit-rate reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

We are looking for a candidate with the following characteristics:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in suitable field
• Advanced Excel skills
• Interested in numbers
• Ability to work under pressure, coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proactive way of working
• Preferably previous experience in demand planning/forecasting, especially in FMCG industry
• Previous knowledge of SAP and Relex demand planning system is considered as an advantage
• Team player who works well with colleagues and stakeholders of various levels, across regional/global locations
• Fluent English and Finnish
• Can-do attitude
