The Ambassador at the Embassy of the United States in Helsinki is seeking an experienced

Residence Manager/Event Planner

to work in the Ambassador’s residence. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the residence, guest services, and the organization and conduct of official functions including formal lunches and dinners, banquets, and receptions. Duties include managing household accounts, staff scheduling, procurement, and processing invoices for representational events. Hospitality experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to be a good team player required. English proficiency and MS Office skills required.  The work will be an average of 37 ½ hours per week. Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime on weekends and evenings.
