We are looking for a Research Scientist / Senior Scientist in the area of energy harvesting and energy autonomous devices.

Main work responsibilities will be research and development tasks on various energy harvesting techniques and energy autonomous devices related topics including:

  • Research and development on new energy harvesting techniques
  • Simulation, measurement and analysis of energy harvester systems
  • Development of energy harvester devices with converter electronics
  • Realisation of demonstrator systems
  • Research project planning, reporting, dissemination

We expect you to have some of following

  • University degree in the area of electronics or physics
  • Understanding of electronics and physics in various energy harvesting techniques like electromagnetic, piezo and thermoelectric generators
  • Abilities to understand and develop harvester techniques with new emerging techniques
  • Skills on calculations and simulation of physical systems with tools like COMSOL, Matlab and SimScape or electronics simulations with PSpice are essential
  • Good verbal and written English for communication

In addition, we appreciate

  • Any embedded systems related experience
