With us you will be responsible for
Multidisciplinary research activities related to MEMS. We are looking for a passionate researcher who is a fast learner and goes beyond the obvious. As a team, we design, simulate, manufacture and test MEMS sensors and microelectronics devices, but no direct background to these topics is needed, although it is of advantage. Depending on your background and personal interest, you can develop silicon processes in the Micronova clean room, design devices, or their readout electronics for a MEMS sensor system. You will work in close collaboration with experienced team members, who will coach you as needed. There is also an opportunity to make PhD thesis as part of the work. You also have good opportunities to project management tasks if you like.
We expect you to have
Minimum requirement is MSc, Dr. Tech / PhD would be of advantage, from the areas of physics, microfabrication or electronics. Any expertise in microelectronics, semiconductor physics, electronics, MEMS, clean room processing or metrology can be a valuable asset, but none of them is a prerequisite for this work. The same applies for programming languages Matlab, Python, .Net or embedded C/C++, PADS or Altium, and experience in numerical simulations, such as FEM.
As a person you are
Enthusiastic about the possibility to design state-of-the-art MEMS in national and international projects for a variety of applications ranging from personal health care to space applications. You like problems solving and make initiatives rather wait for instructions. You should have good cooperation and networking skills, as well as fluent written and oral communication in English.
