Do you want to join the VTT Centre for Metrology (MIKES) and carry out top-level research within the field of measurement science?
With us you will be responsible for precision optical high-temperature measurements. You will be working with ultra-stable lasers and precision electronic instrumentation. Your work will also involve numerical modelling and theoretical calculations on light-matter interactions as well as uncertainty analysis.
We expect you to have a master’s degree in physics or engineering. Knowledge in, or interest towards, atomic physics, laser technology, optics, electronics and/or spectroscopy is advantageous but not required.
As a person you are innovative and a team player. You have a strong interest towards science and technology, and you enjoy finding solutions to difficult technical challenges.
