As a Regional Project Manager you will oversee shopfit, store renewal and expansion projects from inception to completion across Northern Europe, primarily in Sweden and Finland. Contracts Management is a small team of skilled professionals operating within Business Development, who, together with Store Design, Learning & Development, Business and Technology Change, form Specsavers Central Retail Operations division for Northern Europe. Specsavers has ambitious growth plans within Europe and executes a rolling plan of continuous store improvement in every country.
You will negotiate contracts on best possible terms while maintaining brand standards and fulfilling all legal and contractual obligations.
Passionate negotiator with great project management skills
As a member of the Nordic Contracts Management team your responsibilities will, among other, be to implement and represent Specsavers’ store concept within the region. You must lead and support contractors, project coordinators and product suppliers to deliver their services, develop and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers, contractors, Business Development and Store Design teams. You will also be involved in various ad-hoc projects to support the development of the portfolio within the region.
Strategic, detail-oriented and trustworthy influencer
The successful applicant will have detailed knowledge of European construction and shopfitting practice and be able to motivate and manage high-performing shopfit teams in multiple and complex projects simultaneously. You must also have experience with administering and managing shopfit or construction contracts and related components and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of tendering best practice. You will also show evidence of strategic decision-making skills in order to deliver the right environment with best value for money whilst identifying and managing commercial risk. Furthermore, you must be able to lead and motivate local shopfitting teams in a multi-cultural environment, therefore excellent inter-personal skills are essential.

On a personal level you are self-driven, resilient and able to influence others. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and excel at building and maintaining relationships. You must have the ability to travel but with some flexibility of working from home. Ideally, you will be in one our regional offices at least one day a week. You will report to the Nordic Head of Contracts Management.
