Real Estate Manager
We are looking for active and experienced Real Estate professional to join Fortum Corporate Real Estate team. Your main role will be managing our properties, driving negotiations in real estate investments, divestments, leasing and city planning.
You are expected to manage both owned and leased properties with objective in cost effectiveness, business support and user experience. You will drive and support all our businesses in property negotiations with suppliers, authorities and other stakeholders related to power plants, land areas and offices. You work as a corporate real estate contact person between business and external stakeholders. You are responsible for Fortum’s global real estate data is up to date, ensure cost efficient management of owned and leased properties and premises. You support facility maintenance negotiations and delivery on site. You are responsible for maintaining site specific service agreements incl. proposals for synergies.

At least five years of experience in Real Estate and understanding of leasing, investing and divesting of properties. Excellent contract negotiation and project mgmt. skills. Basic understanding of city planning, good collaboration skills with authorities and suppliers. Financial thinking and ability to create and present cases to top management is a must. Very good communication and change management skills are valued.. In our international environment English and Finnish skills are a must and proficiency in German and Swedish is an advantage. It would be beneficial for you to demonstrate also skills in facility or workplace services and IT tools in real estate area.
- University degree in Technology, Economy or Jurisdiction
- At least 5 years of work experience in real estate or property management
- Proven experience of negotiations with internal and external parties in English and Finnish
- Target oriented with strong drive for results.
- Financial analytical and planning capabilities. Organized and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer orientation and service minded.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive work towards common goals, willingness to support and coach others, project management capabilities.
- Travelling required around 20-30 days/year.
