We are looking for a R&D Project Manager, Embedded Software at ABB Oy Smart Power Business Line in Helsinki.
We offer a possibility to work in an agile environment and develop and implement lean product development methods. In this position you also have a possibility to work with and develop advanced technologies to increase use of renewable energy.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing Solar inverter software Scrum Master responsibilities
  • Leading mainly embedded software related solar inverter projects
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

  • MSc or DSc in field of software, automation, power electronics or equal.
  • Knowledge of real time systems.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Experience of software development for microcontroller or DSP.
  • Experience from C, C# or C++ programming language.
  • Basic understanding of power electronic.
  • Basic understanding of Agile product development methods like Scrum.
  • Great organizing scills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems or control electronics is seen as an advantage
