How will you make an impact?
Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently recruiting for three R&D Laboratory Technicians for fixed term (appr. 5 months) to Cascadion SM Clinical Chemistry Analyzer method development in Vantaa starting as soon as possible.

You will work as part of a Clinical Mass Spectrometry (CMS) R&D diagnostic team and participate in verification and validation of LC-MSMS based applications for Cascadion SM analyzer. You will have a change to work with high technology products and develop yourself and the ways of working in a motivating, innovative working environment.


What will you do?

Your work include sample preparation and their analysis with an automated Cascadion clinical chemistry analyzer. You will work in pairs together with a R&D chemist. In addition, the work includes laboratory maintenance tasks.

How will you get here?
Experience

  • Several years working experience in laboratory
  • Previous experience in working with In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) methods (verification and validation) is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent laboratory hands on skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
  • Good communication skills and results oriented way of working
  • Open, flexible and innovative team player
  • Proactive, self-driven and result oriented team player.
  • Sufficient computer skills and experience in MS Office package

Education

  • Vocational school degree, Polytechnic degree in chemistry, biosciences or related field is recommended
