Vaisala’s Product Creation teams develop and manage our industry-leading products all the way from initial ideas to product launches including R&D, engineering, software development and testing, project management, system testing as well as UX design.

We are looking for:
We are looking for a R&D Engineer to work with maintaining our weather product offering together with the R&D team for a fixed term of 6 months. The position is based in Vaisala headquarter in Vantaa.

Whether you are newly graduated or in between jobs, we are interested to hear from you. Ideally, you will start in July or in the beginning of August.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:
Product testing and laboratory works
• Product modifications and configurations
• Participating to test system development

This position offers a number of growth opportunities depending on your strengths and ambitions. You get work in versatile tasks in different projects with the R&D team.

We are looking for a problem solver who is interested in hands on work with different weather measurement products. You are team player who communicates effectively and collects and shares knowledge actively with others. We expect you to have initiative, to be able to manage parallel assignments and to achieve quick results when necessary. You preferably have a B.Eng or M.Sc. degree in engineering. You can have either hardware or software background.
