Are you an internationally oriented project management professional thinking of new challenges? Do you wish to promote sustainability in a key industry and contribute to the story of better energy management?
We are looking for a R&D Project Manager to join our EMEA Project Management Office with the opportunity to work at the front of a constantly developing technology.
In this role you lead multiple smart energy development projects. You have the overall responsibility for planning the project timeline, deliverables and quality as well as ensuring appropriate risk and change management for the project. You handle the project budgeting and product costs and manage resources over the entire project lifecycle. An important part of your responsibilities is the coordination of activities during project phase between the development and manufacturing sites of EMEA. You actively represent the interest of the project to regional and global stakeholders and share knowledge across sites and departments. Your projects may also work with external development partners around the globe which require your attention and steering. Moreover, you provide full transparency to the project status in various presentations and meetings.
You have a few years of experience in project management leading successful embedded product development. You have gained a deep understanding of Product Development Life Cycle Methodology Phases. You also have profound understanding of development methodologies (waterfall & agile) and increment release planning. Strong understanding of manufacturing requirements to launch products. Management experience with international development partners is a strong plus. Project management certification (e.g. IPMA, PMI) is strongly preferred. You own strong assertive leadership of project teams to ensure successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within budget and on time. You demonstrate excellent negotiation skills for working with stakeholders. Fluent communication and presentation skills in English is required, Finnish is a plus.
