Quality Systems Manager

We are looking for a Quality Systems Manager to lead our Quality Systems Team. We are team of 6 persons and responsible for ensuring compliance to quality requirements, internal and external audits, document system, change control, continuous improvement program and supporting teams in use of automotive quality tools. The team has a great spirit and team members have ability to support each other but everyone also has their own area of responsibility. Therefore, you do not have to manage all technical details by yourself but more important is your willingness to effective collaboration. We appreciate your skills to define, maintain and improve plans of action and especially your ability to clarify priorities in open and transparent way.

You have an important role to contribute the quality system development to get the trust from customer and other stakeholders. You are not only developing Murata Finland’s quality system but also contributing to the development for global Murata quality system. You co-operate with your colleagues in Japan and you also visit Murata Japan’s sites about ones a year. We will introduce you to our systems, processes and quality requirements.

As a Quality Systems Manager, your main responsibilities are

• QEMS (Quality and Environmental Management System) Process Ownership
• Working as a Lead Auditor and a Leader of Internal Auditors Team
• Internal Auditing
• Leading the Quality Systems Team
• Leading the CI (Continuous Improvement) Steering Group

These qualities and skills will support your success in the position:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant area, or strong applicable work experience.
• Work experience from related field more than 5 years.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF, VDA and other relevant international quality system standards, and lead auditor capability.
• Strong co-operation and communication skills, as well as problem solving skills.
• Knowledge on statistical methods and risk analysis methods and Six Sigma.
• Semiconductor manufacturing process understanding, understanding on demanding business segment (i.e. Automotive).
• Project and management skills, capability to work under pressure and in confronting situations.
• Office SW tools, M-Files
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, other common global language capability is benefit.

Your participation in creating and improving the Ways of Working (WoW) will improve the value add and the efficiency for everyone in Murata Finland. Therefore, we appreciate existing knowledge of the WoW in Murata Finland, but that is not necessary.
