Quality Specialist
Nightingale Health

Alkuperäinen julkaisupäivä 21.10.2019

Want to shape the future of health and ensure high-quality implementation of operations in a pioneering health tech company that’s transforming preventive care? We’re looking for a passionate Quality Specialist to join our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) team in Helsinki. So, if you are someone who’s interested in high-calibre medical devices and applications, likes being meticulous, loves to communicate and learn more, it might be a match.

Here’s what you'll do

At Nightingale Health, quality is a core element and one of the key assets in our mission.

In this role, you’d be part of a closely-knit team that delivers the highest level of quality with consistent implementation and development of Nightingale’s Quality Management System (QMS). You’d work in close collaboration with other teams to help them deliver top-grade medical devices and applications by actively promoting regulatory, quality and customer requirements.

An important element of your work would be to participate in internal and external audit programs, create and review quality system documentation and collect data to ensure continued smooth operations. You would also be providing trainings for the organisation and lead small projects on a regular basis. You’d work as part of a supportive HSEQ team where you will be encouraged to bring your ideas to the table.

What we’re looking for

Do you have a flair for project management and superb scheduling skills? We need someone who can see the big picture—the quality team’s role in the operation of our company—but also has the patience and drive to do routine work that need attention to details.

You should be able to interpret feedback and advance quality needs within the organization. We have global regulatory approvals and we’re looking for someone who has the ambition to take it forward. So, having experience in that area will be considered an advantage.

We want someone who has an uncompromising attitude, eye for detail and an eagerness to learn new skills. You’re equipped with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals at all organisational levels. In terms of languages, you should have fluent written and verbal skills in Finnish and English.

Previous experience with QMS is an asset but not a strict requirement. You should have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, pharmacy or medicine. We also value knowledge of IVD & medical device regulations and standards EN ISO 13485 and EN ISO 15189. Clinical laboratory skills and knowledge of the healthcare or biotech landscape are considered an advantage.

We’re looking for someone with at least 1 to 2 years of experience who has the right attitude and the ability to own this role.

What we offer

  • Meaningful, pioneering work that offers you the opportunity to constantly develop your skills
  • Responsibility and independence as an accountable member of our HSEQ team
  • Unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team of scientists, business professionals, developers, designers and biotech business experts
  • Flexible and informal working environment
  • Competitive salary
  • Full fringe benefits for health and wellbeing incl. massage, commuting, sports and culture
  • In-house chef and cafe that serves a warm lunch every day
  • Premium health insurance
  • Quirky team get-togethers
  • Interest clubs from running to music (we have an in-house band!)

This is a full-time position based in Helsinki.
