Job Description


We are seeking a Quality Specialist to a new position to join our Market Area Nordics team in Tampere. The main purpose of this role is to be a single contact point for quality related claims between front-end market area sales and business areas.


As a Quality Specialist, you understand the quality is a biggest driver to customer satisfaction and manage quality related topics between market area and business areas, thus releasing sales personnel’s customer interface time.  You will ensure customers’ quality complaints’ smooth and fast resolution within Metso organization. The responsibility includes measuring and reporting quality and warranty complaints related KPI’s.

In order to meet and improve Metso’s quality standards, you will be driving and developing our internal operations and processes into world-class quality processes.


Your main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating quality related topics in a professional manner to business areas
  • Supporting business areas’ upfront to avoid quality related problems
  • Maintaining and developing quality claims’ processing operations
  • Measuring and reporting quality and warranty claims’ KPIs
  • Supporting market area sales with quality and warranty related customer meetings


To Succeed

We are looking for a person who understands and has already previous experience of quality and continuous improvement procedures and working methods. You have preferably technical and/or engineering experience with mining and aggregates or other heavy industry products.

You have a relevant technical degree and you speak fluent English. Swedish skills are an advantage.

You have a mindset for continuous improvement and you take a proactive approach. Your collaboration skills are excellent and you are able to communicate with all levels of management and with both internal and external parties.

This role requires travelling 10-20% of the work time.
