We are looking for a

Quality Manager

to join our global Group Quality Excellence team in Espoo.

Your part in Neste journey

Our aim is to further strengthen Neste brand among our customers and our internal efficiency towards zero incidents and lean processes. We aim to quality awareness and accountability among our people. We also want to continue our long tradition of being a trustworthy and compliant counterparty towards customers and authorities.

In your role, you will:

  • Develop and run incident learning, quality reporting and KPIs
  • Manage and develop our Commercial Excellence management system
  • Systematize and standardize our end-to-end processes to improve product quality and proactively prevent non-conformances in close cooperation with business organizations
  • Increase the visibility of quality awareness and operational excellence as part of global team of quality professionals

You will work closely with our Sales, Supply and Supply Chain Management organizations in Oil Products and Renewable business areas to support achieving excellent customer delivery performance. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Working safely at all times is essential to all of us.

We are a small team of 8 experts working in the Group Quality Excellence team. Our team is responsible for global incident learning processes, quality reporting, management system improvement, audit planning and coordination and other continual improvement activities. We work actively on strengthening corporate quality excellence culture as one key element of our competitive edge.

Keys to success in this role

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is:

  • Good understanding of supply chain management
  • Previous experience from end-to-end process improvement and systematic problem solving
  • Systematic way of working and visible drive to take leadership in quality management and continual improvement
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Fluency of English language and good command of Finnish is a must
  • A university level degree in applicable field of study

We also value:

  • Ability to coordinate and integrate varied activities with differing focus or objectives effectively
  • Experience from oil and gas business or logistics functions

The recruitment process includes interviews and aptitude testing. The first interviews are preliminary scheduled to start on week 22.

The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. A security clearance is obtained for the persons with their consent.
