As a Quality Engineer, you will:
•focus on food safety, quality and regulatory compliance and to promote a strong quality culture. be responsible for the laboratory and take part of operational lab routines.
•responsible for daily business at the lab where we do hygiene and quality control in the factory, inspection of raw material, batches of semi- and finished goods and products are according to our specifications.
•perform follow up, do root cause analyses and implement improvements in the area of food safety, quality and hygiene.
•be responsible for the local HACCP team in the factory including all documentation
•work closely with colleagues from all functions to lead and support with QA activities, both planned and unplanned.
•use your project management, coaching and training skills to drive process and quality improvements.
•support with structure and methods for investigations
Experience you will bring:
•Formal qualifications include an academic degree in science, medical, engineering or other relevant field.
•Microbiological education / experience is good to have but not obligatory.
•Some laboratory experience.
•3-5 year's relevant experience, preferably from food or other regulated industries.
•Preferably experience of food safety / HACCP
•Root cause analyses and process improvements.
•As you work with both international and local personnel, both Finnish and English are a must. Swedish a plus.
•Knowledge and experience in working with M3/Movex or SAP is an advantage.
