We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Team in Espoo. What does a Quality Engineer do at Eaton? She or he dives into technical analyses, networks across the organization (R&D, Tech Support, Production), takes a wider look at quality issues and advises on possible quality issues.
About the role:
As a Quality Engineer your job is to ensure the overall quality of a manufactured product. You will identify, analyze, and track product and process related quality problems in the field. Additionally, your responsibilities are to perform internal and customer-requested root cause analyses on devices, PCBs and other electrical components. You are a valued technical advisor and, working together with experts from different functions, will provide feedback of the results of analysis by presenting your findings and reports within the organization.
In this role no two days are the same, each different case brings elements of something new. The working environment is fast paced, but you will be supported by the rest of our organization. As you grow in the role, you’ll get a deeper understanding of how design, production, and use in the field all combine to impact quality and reliability.
You will already have a technical degree in electronics or power electronics and are an efficient self-starter who enjoys troubleshooting and understands the underlying issues. You feel comfortable analyzing information, reporting results and promoting improvements based on your findings. Analytical skills and critical thinking are your strengths. You have a positive mindset and a drive to take yourself and your work forward.
