Nordic Semiconductor is expanding, and we are looking to recruit a talented Quality Engineer to our Quality Department. We are an international team of dedicated individuals, focused on quality and excellence to maintain and strengthen Nordic´s position as the number one BLE SoC provider in the world. The successful candidate will have the technical expertise to meet the expectations of our exacting customers, by maintaining and enhancing the exceptional quality of our products, methods and tools.
With high volumes of our chips being delivered to prestigious businesses throughout the world, ensuring the quality of our products is of the utmost importance. Nordic Semiconductor meets strict and constantly changing requirements from our customers and partners as well as government legislation and regulations. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, OHSAS18001, and enables us to meet these stringent requirements with reliability and efficiency. The Quality Engineer will maintain and improve this system in cooperation with management and experts from all disciplines within the company. You will initiate and manage improvement activities, non-conformity cases, management system audits, process measurements, the quality encyclopedia and process training activities.
You have an engineering background, preferably in Microelectronics, but candidates with significant Quality Assurance experience related to other disciplines will also be considered. You have a passion for business processes related to commercial product development. The specific responsibilities of the job may be adapted to the successful candidate, therefore newly graduated applicants with an excellent academic record, as well as more experienced applicants will be considered.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
M.Sc. Electronic Engineering or similar with preferably 5 years´relevant work experience
Academic and/or professional experience in several of the following areas:
Developing or maintaining certified management systems
Improvement work in multi-discipline teams
Developing, conducting and coordinating training programs
Process performance measurements
Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach
Process-oriented and collaborative
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English (written and oral)
Self-motivated and independent

LOCATION: Finland (Oulu)
