Microsoft Finland HoloLens team is designing optical parts for the product. The parts have high standards of both functional and cosmetic quality. On behalf of our client Microsoft, we are now looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the HoloLens team in Espoo. Quality assurance engineer’s role is to improve and create methods of verifying cosmetic quality of the product. The job also includes aligning production quality levels to actual customer expectation level.
This is a full time and fixed term position and starts as soon as the suitable person is found. Employment contract will be signed between the employee and Adecco Finland.
Responsibility of Quality Assurance Engineer is to make sure Microsoft has a way to fulfill their customers’ quality expectations. To achieve that the engineer will be creating methods of measuring the quality level, make sure that all persons involved understand the quality requirement levels. Every product is quality measured or inspected the same way at Microsoft.
Outgoing quality criteria's and assurance methods need to be aligned with receiving end incoming criteria's and assurance methods, both of those will be in the responsibility of the Quality Assurance engineer. A team will be there to support the Quality Assurance Engineer in achieving the targets.
Quality Assurance Engineer’s work day will typically consist of by designing quality assurance methods and training others, checking the cosmetic quality of the product, creating methods of doing inspection and reporting findings. Also aligning the quality level to the customer expectation will be an essential part of the responsibilities. As Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate with other teams by giving feedback and being an innovative problem solver.
We are looking for a person who already has visual / cosmetic quality related experience. Either inspection or specifying of methods is preferred. Previous production experience is a great benefit. We appreciate ability to clarify unclear areas. As a person you are self-directed and quality-oriented. Good communication and collaboration skills are vital. Working language is English.
