We are looking for a part-time PURCHASING ENGINEER to Valmet's purchasing team. Position is fixed-term (one year) but there's a possibility for a longer employment. The employment begins in January 2020 and working hours will vary between 20-40 h.
Your main responsibilities are:
-To execute specified, both internal and external purchases to board and paper machines
-To ensure that the procurement will be executed by following-up Valmet's procurement process and requirements for goods and supply in terms of quality and on-time delivery
-To maintain co-operation with different stakeholders both internally and externally.
What we expect from you:
-Basic knowledge of procurement processes, and understanding how purchasing supports business and internal and external customers
-Good communication and co-operation skills
-Good problem-solving skills
-Solid IT skills, ERP familiarity is a plus but not mandatory
-Fluent written and oral communication skills in English and in Finnish
-Suitable education, for example Bachelor's degree in logistics or business.
