We’re now looking for a

Purchasing and Project Support Manager

based in our Espoo office

In this role, you will be responsible for procurement and purchases as well as supporting the technical project team. You will be a part of the Biogas Business Unit project team, which main goal is to manage biogas production/upgrading/liquefaction/filling station projects. The team also develops new technical solutions according to business demand and ensures efficient and cost competitive supplier management and purchasing and thereby strongly contributes to our ambitious growth targets. An important part of your work is to carry out efficient purchasing and developing the purchasing ways of working within the business unit.

When it comes to project support activities, you will implement our project model and work in close collaboration with Gasum group finance and IT-departments. You will coordinate the activities related to project cost control and reporting as a business owner and develop the ways of working of these areas. You will ensure the implementation of the governance model in the investment project execution. You will also support project managers with project planning related duties.

We are looking for candidates with relevant experience from purchasing activities and processes. Administrative experience in project support and planning is also required. Previous experience from construction projects environment, especially within the energy industry is an asset. You will need good communication and convincing skills in English and Finnish. Working language skills in Swedish are a benefit.

You are the person we are looking for, if you are used to working independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues as well as partners/clients. You are a goal-oriented person with a service mindset and a natural orientation to detail. You have a relevant administrative or technical degree.
