Project Planner

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join our global Project Management Office team located in Espoo to ensure that our projects are managed in a unified and effective way.

Role Description

As Project Planner you will have an important role to develop project schedules and scheduling methodologies and keep the project schedules up-to-date.

Your key responsibilities are the following:

1. Development of project schedules and plans, and keeping the project schedules up-to-date.

• Your main responsibility is to create fully resourced project schedules for system projects and manage them in cooperation with the Project team.
• You ensure that the project progress and performance is regularly reviewed, updated and reported in a standardized way.
• You identify key variances and risks on the project schedules and present the data in the form of reports & graphs.
• You provide critical path analysis, baseline variance analysis, trend forecasts, and provide detailed cost and schedule reviews both in project and in portfolio level.

2. Development of scheduling methodologies

• You will be the key user of project management software and develop of schedule and other KPI reporting for projects

3. Project management process, templates and instructions development and training

• You train, coach and support Project Managers and Project Administrators regarding the scheduling tools and techniques.

• You ensure that projects are following the defined processes as well as support the development of the project management processes.

We expect you to have

•Strong knowledge of Project management tools, techniques and processes
•Scheduling software (MS Project) competence
•Experience from a schedule planning and management, preferably in ship building or other similar industry
•Fluent English. Local language (Finnish, German, Chinese etc.) is an advantage
•MSc or BSc preferably with project management studies
•Strong training skills
