Project Manager
Lindström GroupWe are excited to announce that we are now looking for a Project Manager for our Capacity Management team!
Are you a senior level expert, experienced in the field of construction? As Project Manager, you will be joining the Capacity Management team in our group functions and will be responsible for a range of investment projects including equipment installations, technical development, energy efficiency and construction works in any of our 22 operating countries. You will be working with both internal and external stakeholders. Your stakeholders are global and we are working in a hybrid model, but you will be frequently visiting our Head Office in Kalasatama, Helsinki.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
End to end responsibility for project implementation from conceptual design to hand-over
Acting as connection point between internal and external stakeholders
Most notable external stakeholders include suppliers, contractors, and consultants
Most notable internal stakeholders include Production Managers and Business and Country Management
Reporting and follow-up of budgeting and schedules
Participating in budgeting preparations and supplier negotiations
Implementation of the annual capital expenditure
We are looking for a decisive and motivated team member, who has good communication skills and is comfortable taking the lead. Being able to understand dynamics between different project stakeholders is an important skill in this role, as well as the ability to lead technical and commercial negotiations. We hope you are proactive and have an international mindset – you will be part of a multinational organization!
Our ideal candidate has:
5-10 years of relevant project management experience from construction industry (or equivalent)
Suitable technical degree
Ability to translate technical requirements into project objectives
Experience in scope and contract management
Experience in budget and cost management
Excellent written and verbal English
Professional level written and verbal Finnish
Good IT skills
Willingness to travel
