In your role:
We are now looking for a Project Manager for Project Operations in Stock Preparation and Recycled Fiber Business Unit. As a Project Manager you’d work as the primary Valmet contact in the customer interface in capital projects and lead Valmet’s global project team. You would be in charge of the following tasks in the capital projects: customer negotiations and daily communication with customers, project scheduling and follow-up, project risk management, budgeting, cost estimation and invoicing, progress reporting internally and to customers, warranty time management and guarantee verification together with product and paper technology. Very important external objective is to obtain as high customer satisfaction as possible. This is a position substituting a job alternation leave, but the chances of continuing the employment beyond look good.
To be successful in this position it would be beneficial to have M.Sc or B.Sc in engineering. Knowledge of Stock Preparation and Recycled Fiber system or similar processes and equipment is required. In addition to that a good knowledge of project management is highly appreciated.
You have good written and verbal communication skills in English and profiency in Finnish language is seen as an advantage. We assume you have experience with MS Office tools and we see knowledge from ERP systems as an advantage. As a person you are social and you have capability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, willingness to solve problems and an attitude of getting things done.
