Project Manager, Service Building

We are strengthening our Nuclear Island Team and we are hiring more Power Plant Managers. As a Building Manager you will participate into supervision and control of the schedules, design, installation and testing of the nuclear island systems and their interfaces during the nuclear power plant project. You will work as part of a team in contact to the suppliers and authorities.

 Your tasks will include at least:

  • Complete coordination of service building - overall overview of the design of systems and topics within own building scope
  • Reviewing and controlling of the schedules and progress follow up (internally in Fennovoima and with suppliers)
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary technological tasks related to:
    • workshops and equipment for maintenance and repair of components inside the controlled area
    • radiochemical laboratories, utility rooms for personnel working in the controlled area
    • access point to the controlled area with related radiation protection and monitoring systems and equipment
  • Layout check from general functionality point of view including 3D model check
  • Supervision of suppliers' activities, construction, installation and quality assurance within your multidisciplinary scope of responsibility
  • Preparation works related to commissioning and supervision of commissioning inspections and tests

Ideal candidate for this position has:

  • Technical engineering degree
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience from construction of NPP project or operation of NPP (VVER 1000MW, VVER 1200MW)
  • Project management experience and knowledge
  • Knowledge of the nuclear safety regulations and VVER technology
  • Fluent skills in English, Russian is an advantage

Work location: The work location at first is in Helsinki office but starting in Pyhäjoki office can also be negotiated. Later the work location will be in Pyhäjoki.
