Project Manager for Master Data Development

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the development and deployment of Caverion’s master data improvement project. In this position you will work closely with stakeholders from several Caverion countries as well as from Caverion Group.  

Caverion has engaged into a transformation of its procurement function. We aim to improve customer-centricity by empowering people in the field to procure materials and services through a modern and efficient procurement process.

A cornerstone of that change is the renewal of procurement related master data. You will be responsible for detailed planning of to-be master data structure and maintenance process for vendor master data, material master data and material groups. The planning and agreement on master data structure is to be carried out in close co-operation with all Caverion Divisions and for both Caverion Service and Project businesses.

You will also be responsible - with Division-specific project managers – for the deployment including change management and communications.

One of the Core Competences needed to succeed in this position is a strong skillset in project management. We also expect you to be able to bring people along with clarity of direction combined with humble attitude to work hands on and help other people progress and succeed. Since change is always challenging, you need to have stamina, patience, and capability of seeing the good and talking about it.

To succeed in this position you should have at minimum a master’s degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of work experience on:

  • Proven project management and people leadership skills in international environment
  • Strong experience of material master data and vendor master data in SAP environment
  • Knowledge of HVAC- and/or electricity materials is considered as an advantage
  • Fluent English skills (other languages considered as an advantage)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Capability and willingness to travel
