Project Manager, Distribution Systems and Digital Grid

Siemens Osakeyhtiö is currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Distribution Systems/Digital Grid Business unit in Espoo, Finland. 

Distribution Systems/Digital Grid Business units are responsible for delivery of Distribution systems of medium and low voltage systems and high and medium voltage substation protection and automation systems as a part of delivery and substation retrofit projects for our utility and industry customers.

What are my primary responsibilities?

As a Project manager you will have project execution responsibility for selected delivery projects and make an impact on developing and successful growth of our commissioning and your personal career. Execution responsibility of Siemens delivery projects to customers including: 

  • Handling of customer and subcontractor interfaces within delivery projects
  • Reporting project status internally and externally
  • Coordination of works within the project
  • Participation in coordination of subcontractors and procurement
  • Close work with the customers, engineers and our sales organization

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

You have engineering/ technical educational background and at least 2-3 years of experience in project management and project execution in similar function or business area. We hope you are familiar with Low and Medium voltage distribution systems, relay protection systems and SCADA systems.

You are driven and motivated to collaborate with customers seeking best possible business solutions. You have ability to influence and think “out of the box”.  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Finnish and English is required, other Nordic or Baltic languages are considered as an advantage. 

You have knowledge of international standards and good IT skills (Office, AutoCad or similar etc.).
