atNorth is headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland and operates seven data centers in strategic locations across the Nordics, with additional sites to open in Helsinki, Finland and in Denmark in Q4 2024, as well as its tenth site ready for operation in Kouvola, Finland in 2025.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Finland, where you'll play an important role in developing existing sites and managing new construction projects. With three existing sites in Finland and one currently under construction, you’ll oversee projects from early construction stages to completion. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where autonomy, responsibility, and high authority are key elements.
As a project manager, you will belong to the delivery department, collaborating with colleagues across the Nordic region. You’ll be responsible for time, cost, and quality management for all construction projects in Finland, ensuring they meet atNorth’s high standards. In addition to overseeing project compliance with health and safety regulations and local laws, you will maintain close communication with subcontractors and general contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Time Management: Maintain and update construction schedules, ensuring all projects adhere to timelines. Manage the procurement phase in alignment with atNorth’s procurement processes.
- Cost Management: Deliver projects within approved budgets and cost plans.
- Quality Management: Ensure all construction projects comply with atNorth’s project quality manual, installation quality standards, and information recording requirements.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all construction projects meet atNorth’s health and safety standards as well as local laws.
- Reporting: Produce weekly project updates and monthly reports
- Collaboration: Develop and maintain a quality management system in line with industry standards and best practices.
- This role is based in Espoo, Finland, and requires travel within the Nordic region

To succeed in this role, you bring a strong background as a Project Manager with experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or similar industries like hospitals, cleanrooms, or pharmaceutical production. You are skilled at managing complex projects in 24/7 operational environments, ensuring they meet time, cost, and quality objectives. You are an effective communicator, fluent in English and Finnish, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
