Project Manager, Airlocks, Nuclear Island

We are strengthening our team further and hiring more Project Managers in the complex systems unit of Nuclear Island. As a Project Manager you will participate into handling of interfaces between engineering disciplines, supervision and control of the schedules, design, installation and testing activities for the following projects within Nuclear Island: Equipment Airlock, Personal Airlock and Emergency Airlock.

Your tasks will include at least

  • Coordination of multidisciplinary technological tasks
  • Reviewing and controlling of schedules
  • Review of corresponding technical and quality documentation
  • Participation into planning of Fennovoima's processes within your scope of responsibility
  • Supervision of suppliers' activities, construction, installation and quality assurance within your multidisciplinary scope of responsibility
  • Preparation works related to commissioning
  • Supervision of commissioning inspections and tests
  • Reporting

Ideal candidate for this position has

  • Technical engineering degree
  • Engineering experience for above listed scope of responsibility or other relevant experience
  • Multidisciplinary knowledge of the European standards and regulations
  • Knowledge of YVL guides (E.3, E.6), ASME standards (ASME III Div. 2, ASME III Div. 1 NE) and KTA standards
  • Project management experience and knowledge
  • Knowledge of the nuclear safety regulations, VVER technology and experience from manufacturing, installation and operation is an advantage
  • Fluent in English. Finnish and Russian are an advantage

Work location: The work location at first is in Helsinki office but starting in Pyhäjoki office can also be negotiated. Later the work location will be in Pyhäjoki.
