Project Engineer

Based in Finland (Vantaa or Pirkkala), the Project Engineer will be primarily responsible for understanding customer instrumentation requirements, work with engineering team to develop a winning proposal and follow the project from FEED to delivery, providing strong support to local sales team throughout project Lifecycle (from pursuit to closure) and to be first contact point for Project Engineering activities within the assigned project team.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

• Act as a focal point in the largest instrumentation projects in Finland

• Serve as the main customer contact for project technical scope (instrumentation) to ensure project requirements are understood, taking responsibility for the development and delivery of compliant, high quality engineering solutions to the customer

• Take full responsibility for all technical issues related to instrumentation on a project maximizing the scope of work and profit.

• Manage scope, schedule and profitability of projects

• Support the Project Manager and implementation team in managing all contractual obligations throughout the complete project cycle

• Manage change orders

• Ensure project engineering documentation is approved and completed to schedule

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• University or engineering degree

• Relevant experience in Customer Care Environment

• Experience in Instrumentation preferred

• Languages: English – advanced level (mandatory), Finnish

• PC skills: MsOffice – advanced excel knowledge

• People Management experience or proven skills
