Project Engineer for systems, Nuclear Island, Reactor Unit

We are strengthening our Nuclear Island Team and we are hiring more Reactor Unit Engineers. As a Project Engineer for systems in the Reactor Unit you will manage, control and coordinate activities related to the design, licensing, installation and testing of the Nuclear Island systems during the nuclear power plant project, including the schedules and quality documentation. You will work as part of a team in contact to the suppliers and authorities.

Your tasks will include at least

  • Complete coordination of reactor unit systems projects including schedules for individual project stages
  • Complete coordination of reactor unit systems quality documentation for individual project stages
  • Coordination of internal Fennovoima teams and common teams with supplier
  • Participation in planning of Fennovoima's processes within your scope of responsibility
  • Supervision of suppliers' projects and quality assurance related activities in the Nuclear Island scope

Ideal candidate for this position has

  • Technical engineering degree
  • Project management experience
  • Experience from nuclear power plant project or NPP operation
  • Knowledge of the nuclear safety regulations is an advantage
  • Fluent skills in English, Russian is an advantage
  • Experience with nuclear quality documentation is an advantage
  • Experience with managing schedules is an advantage

Work location: The work location at first is in Helsinki office but starting in Pyhäjoki office can also be negotiated. Later the work location will be in Pyhäjoki.
