We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to join our international team responsible for Project Acquisition and Development at CSC. This is an ideal opportunity for a person with an international mindset, prior understanding of the health sector and/or IT sector and an aspiration to contribute to the development of the European Health Data Space.
Your main responsibility is to coordinate CSC’s contribution to the European Health Data Space (EHDS) development projects (SITRA-TEHDAS and H2020 HealthyCloud). In these projects, CSC is responsible for leading tasks to collate recommendations on EHDS technical interoperability and gathering information about computational infrastructures and health data initiatives in Europe. You will participate in the project calls, meetings and lead our documentation efforts on these projects. As part of the CSC team you will ensure timely delivery of project milestones and other deliverables. A successful candidate will also be able to contribute to other projects in the same thematic field. In project acquisition, you will help identifying new funding opportunities and contribute to project proposal preparation within the CSC bio and health related services.
The position holder will be part of our team but also work as a member of the CSC research service teams and leverage the technical competence within our company. You will also be in close collaboration with ELIXIR Finland team at CSC to access specialists in e.g. IT, healthcare, genomics or ethical and legal framework across Europe.
We expect successful applicants to have excellent analytical and communication skills, most importantly to see the forest from the trees and the ability to formulate clear and concise overviews from the information made available for you. You have experience in working as part of international teams. Experience of delivering results within international R&D projects is an asset for the applicant. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English are essential, and technical writing skills are regarded as an asset. You do not need to be a technical expert, however, ability to understand technical issues and communication with technical experts is essential. We value experience from the health and IT sectors, or the ability and motivation to learn the essentials in these fields rapidly.
