We are strengthening our Operations team in Vantaa. Team is responsible for improvement of plant output, performance and quality as well as implementation of changes.

We are now looking for a Production Engineer

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Securing good customer service by finding and opening both technical and operational bottlenecks in production with Operations team in Tikkurila Group’s production in Vantaa, Finland 

  • Supporting supervisors in daily activities to find areas to develop towards improved performance following LEAN principles and towards economic and sustainability goals

  • As a key person in production you will work closely with local Operational team as well as other colleagues and stakeholders to find best practices and implement new solutions.

To succeed in this role, you have...

  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in technology e.g. process engineering, chemical engineering or similar

  • Few years experience in working in a production environment, preferably in a position including operational responsibilities

  • Problem solving skills and a desire to become a top-professional in production 

  • Interest to show understanding in production even in a detailed level

  • Result driven way of working

  • Good communicational skills and a team-work oriented mindset

  • Both written and spoken fluency in Finnish and English

The position is based in Vantaa, Finland. You will report to Production Manager, Petri Karhu.
