We are looking for a Production Engineer who has high interest and suitable education background in physics and electronics. If you enjoy "hands-on" work, you are a natural problem solver and most of all you are eager to grow and develop, this might be the right position for you. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and grow as a Production Engineer. You don´t have to have multiple years of experience since the team will teach you. Most of all you are expected to have the right attitude, interest towards physics and electronics, and willingness to learn.

In this role, you will be working closely with three technicians and product development. An important part of your job is to assimilate data to identify what is most important and apply standard solutions to the product. Regular reviews are done together with the team.

Your key responsibilities include:

* Technical issues in sensor manufacturing
* Production process
* Production equipment
* Consultancy with sensor R&D
* Coordination of the sensor manufacturing, optimising production processes to maximise yield, efficiency and cost.
* Supply chain & scheduling control
* Configuration control
* Quality Control and Product Assurance
* Production planning
* Development of the production process in cooperation with R&D
* Produce and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) together with operators (micromechanics technicians)
* Training to sensor production personnel
* Communication in technical issues with the customers
* Planning and delivery of results


* Engineering degree in Electronics, Physics or Industrial Engineering
* Good knowledge in physics and electronics
* High interest in physics and sensor technology
* Fluency in English
* Willingness to travel for longer periods, 1-2 weeks

It is also seen as an advantage if you have:

* Labview and Python programming skills
* ERP System experience and working knowledge
* Good understanding of lean principles
* NPI and productionisation experience
* Sensor & measurement technique skills

* Start: Per agreement
* Work extent: 12 months, possibility to continue agreement after that
