We are seeking applications from suitable individuals for the position of Product Support Specialist to support the expansion of the Fire Suppression business. You will support specifically the Sandvik Production Units in Europe as well as markets such as Europe, Africa, Middle East and North America. This position will be based in Tampere or Turku, Finland.
Your main responsibility will be to provide product support and training to key Sandvik equipment factories and Sales Areas. You will also provide regular internal and external training and participate in resolving technical enquiries. You will be required to provide diagnostic and product application support to Sales teams and Technicians.
Frequent Travel domestically & internationally is required, you will need to ability to do so.

About you and what we find important
You have 3-5 years of experience in hands on equipment maintenance and field service, as well as some experience in systems support, remote support and technical or product training. You have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills along with an excellent service attitude. You are able to build strong relationships at all levels over a wide range of cultures and opinions. You have knowledge of the heavy equipment industry and understanding of the Mining business.
You have a strong customer focus, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently and without close supervision and ability to work as part of a team. You have a demonstrated ability to coach and mentor employees to achieve goals. You are safety focussed, with experience in equipment maintenance and field service, as well as some experience in systems support, remote support and technical or product training. This role requires a Certification for training and assessing with a Mechanical trade certificate or extensive hands-on mechanical experience.
